Mold in palette- devastated

"i purchased this palette a few months ago, and recently discovered that i have mold growing in the green/gold marbled shade. i saved up for this palette, and am absolutely devastated- this is my favorite palette that i’ve ever owned, and the blue/pink shade and straight gold shimmer below it are my favorite eyeshadows. i have never had this happen with any other makeup products i’ve owned, and the fact that there is such startling growth in one shade points to a contamination issue in manufacturing. i don’t normally write reviews but i had to share this in case any one else has any other quality control issues."
